Pau and Friends get beat by Atlanta, I can’t see through metal

Two days ago I said that Pau’s impact might not really be felt until the Lakers face off against a post-heavy offense. Well, as always, I was wrong.
The Lakers traveled to Atlanta on Wednesday and got edged out 98-95. Of course, Kobe was playing (37:02) with a dislocated pinky finger but that doesn’t excuse Pau’s dismal line – 37:04, 5-14, 12pts 7rbs. Nice way to solidify yourself as a low post defensive stopper.
Today, the Lakers travel to Orlando to take on Dwight Howard’s arms and Hedo’s curls in a match that is sure to disappoint Laker fans everywhere as Kobe might not play. Look for Pau to appear on a few more posters with a new jersey.
